Rice Adai

Ingredients

Rice rawa
- 3 cups
•
Black grams (dehusked)
- 1 cup
•
Bengal gram dal
- 1 cup
•
Green chillies
- 7
•
Ginger
- ½ inch piece
•
Coriander leaves (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Salt
- 3 teaspoons
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
•
Sour thick curd
- 2 cups
Ingredients For Making Chutney
•
Black grams
- 1 teaspoon
•
Bengal grams
- 1 teaspoon
•
Red chillies
- 2
•
Coconut (grated)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Tamarinds
- a little
•
Salt
- as required
•
Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Oil
- as required
Method
1.
Soak
rice rawa
in sour
curd
over night.
2.
Soak
dals for 1 or 2 hours in the morning.
3.
Grind
dal
together till fine
rawa
consistency.
4.
Mix
dal
paste
with soaked
rawa
, chopped
chillies
,
ginger
,
coriander leaves
and
salt
.
5.
Make
small adai on top of hot pan and
fry
with
oil
on both sides
Method To Make Chutney
1.
Fry
equal measures of
black gram
,
bengal gram
with
red chillies
.
2.
Grind
it along with grated
coconut
,
tamarind
and
salt
.
3. Season
mustard seeds
in
oil
and
pour
on top.
