Potlakaya Perugu Pachadi (Snake Gourd Pachadi)

Ingredients

Snake gourds (finely chopped)
- 1 cup
•
Green chillies
- 8
•
Tamarind (soaked & extracted)
- lime size
•
Salt
- as required
•
Sugar
- as required
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Oil
- 1 tablespoon
•
Mustard seeds
- ΒΌ teaspoon
Method
1. Select tender
snake gourd
and
cut
into small pieces.
2.
Fry
green chillies
and chopped
gourd
pieces together in
oil
till moisture is absorbed completely and it turns golden brown.
3.
Drain
off excess
oil
.
4. Allow to cool and pound it with soaked
tamarind
,
salt
and little
sugar
to
taste
.
5.
Heat
oil
,
add
mustard
to splutter and
mix
with pachadi.
