Ingredients For The Batter

Corn flour
- 2 tablespoons

Maida
- 1 tablespoon
•
Black pepper (crushed)
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Salt
- ¼ teaspoon

Water
- ½ cup
Ingredients For The Cutlet Patties
•
Pohas (thin, washed)
- 1 cup
•
Potatoes (boiled & mashed)
- 2
•
Turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Red chilly powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Garam masala powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Mango powder (dry)
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Chaat masala
- ½ teaspoon
•
Ginger-garlic paste
- ½ teaspoon
•
Black pepper (crushed)
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Corn flour
- 1 tablespoon
•
Salt
- ½ teaspoon
•
Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Bread crumbs
- 1 cup
Method To Make The Batter
1. In a bowl,
add
corn flour
,
maida
,
black pepper
,
salt
and
water
.
Mix
well and
keep
aside.
Method To Make The Cutlet
1. In a bowl
add
washed
poha
, boiled & mashed
potatoes
,
turmeric powder
,
red chilly powder
,
garam masala powder
, dry
mango powder
,
chaat masala
,
ginger-garlic paste
, crushed
black pepper
,
corn flour
,
salt
and
coriander leaves
.
2. Combine well to
make
a dough.
3. Grease your hands and
make
into small patties.
4.
Dip
cutlet patties in the batter and coat with
bread crumbs
on all sides.
5. Shallow
fry
or deep
fry
or pan
fry
in
oil
.
Flipping
occasionally till it turns golden brown.
6.
Serve
Poha
Cutlet with mint
dip
or tomato sauce.
