Black gram dal (dehusked)

Coconut (grated, fresh)

Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon

Black pepper
- ½ teaspoon
(optional)

Asafoetidas
- as required
•
Red chillies
- 8
•
Salt
- 2 teaspoons
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
Method
1.
Wash
and
soak
rice
for 1 ½ hour.
2.
Soak
dal
½ an hour before
grinding
.
3.
Grind
together with other
ingredients
coarsely.
4.
Prepare
adai as mentioned in previous recipes.
