Paneer & Mushroom Tikka

Ingredients

• • Paneer (cubed) - 500 grams
• • Mushrooms - 10
• • Capsicums (cubed) - 2
• • Tomato paste - 3 tablespoons
• • Soya sauce - 1 tablespoon
• • Vinegar - 2 teaspoons
• • Tomato ketchup - 2 tablespoons
• • Salt - as required
• • White pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
• • Castor sugar - 1 teaspoon
• • Chilly powder - ½ teaspoon
• • Oil (for basting) - as required

Method

• 1. Mix together the tomato paste, soya sauce, vinegar, ketchup, salt, white pepper powder, sugar and chilly powder.
• 2. Drain the mushrooms and marinate the paneer, mushrooms and capsicum in the above mixture for 1 hour.
• 3. Skewer the paneer, mushrooms and capsicums on shashlik sticks or skewers.
• 4. Cook over hot charcoal a under an electric or gas grill for 8-10 minutes.
• 5. Serve hot.
