Paneer Lollipop

Ingredients For Paneer Marinade
•
Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon
•
Red chilly powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Pepper (crushed)
- ½ teaspoon
•
Cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Garam masala powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Coriander leaves (fresh, finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Curd
- 2 tablespoons
•
Paneer (cut into round pieces)
- 200 grams
Ingredients For The Batter
•
Corn flour
- ¼ cup
•
All purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons
•
Pepper (crushed)
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Bread crumbs
- ½ cup
•
Water (for batter)
- as required
•
Oil (for deep frying)
- as required
Method
1.
Cut
paneer
into round shapes.
2. Poke toothpicks into the bottom of the
paneer
pieces.
3. In a
mixing
bowl,
add
all the
ingredients
mentioned in "For
Paneer
Marinade
" and
mix
well.
4.
Add
paneer
to the
marinade
and
keep
aside for 30 minutes.
5. In an another bowl,
add
all purpose flour
, crushed
pepper
,
salt
and enough
water
.
Mix
well to
make
a thick smooth batter.
6.
Dip
the
paneer
rounds in the batter and coat them with
bread crumbs
.
7.
Heat
oil
in a heavy skillet. Deep
fry
until golden brown.
Drain
on an absorbent paper.
8.
Serve
hot with ketchup.
