Paneer French Toast

Ingredients
•
Bread (prepare: remove side crusts)
- 4 slices
•
Eggs (beaten)
- 2
•
Coriander leaves (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Paneers (cut into very tiny cubes)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Mustard powder
- ΒΌ teaspoon
•
Pepper
- a little
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
Method
1. Beat the
eggs
well.
2.
Add
mustard powder
,
coriander leaves
and
paneer
cubes.
3.
Add
a little
salt
and
pepper
to
taste
.
4.
Cut
the
bread
slices into triangles or squares.
5. Coat the slices with
egg
on one side if desired crisp.
6. If desired soft, coat the
slice
with the
egg
mixture
on both sides.
7. Spoon the
paneer
pieces evenly on the
slice
as they tend to settle at the bottom of
egg
mixture
.
8. Shallow
fry
in a pan with the coated side down.
9. Turn when the under side turns light brown.
10.
Drain
on paper and
serve
hot.
11. You can
add
boiled and flaked chicken pieces instead of
paneer
.
