Palak Puris

Ingredients
•
Wheat flour
- 2 cups
•
Spinaches/Palak
- 3 bunches
•
Cumin powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Garam masala powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Green chillies
- 2
•
Red chilly powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Sugar
- ½ teaspoon
•
Turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Oil (for deep frying)
- as required
Method
1.
Fry
green chillies
and finely
cut
spinach
in little
oil
, till moisture dries up.
2. Cool and then
grind
to smooth
paste
.
3.
Mix
all the dry
ingredients
together with the
flour
in
mixing
bowl.
4.
Add
the
ground paste
and
blend
well with
flour
.
5. Sprinkle
water
and knead to a smooth dough.
6.
Make
puris and deep
fry
till crisp and
serve
hot.
