Onion Raita

Ingredients

Onion
- 1

Salt
- as required
•
Garlic (crushed)
- 1

Green chillies
- 2
•
Ghee
- as required
•
Ginger
- as required
•
Yogurt
- 1 cup
Method
1.
Slice
onions
into thin long pieces.
2.
Add
little powdered
salt
and
mix
well.
3.
Keep
aside for one or two hours.
4. Squeeze out and
add
beaten thick
curds
.
5.
Crush
one
garlic
and two
green chillies
into fine
paste
.
6.
Fry
for a minute in little
ghee
.
7.
Add
to raita,
mix
well and
serve
or
grind
ginger
and
green chilly
alone and
mix
to raita.
