- 2 ½ tablespoons

Salt

Jaggery
- a little

Tamarind
- big lemon size
•
Green chillies (cut lengthwise)
- 3

Coriander (for garnishing)
- a little
•
Curry leaves (for garnishing)
- 1 sprig
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Oil
- 1 tablespoon
•
Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Urad dal
- 1 teaspoon
•
Bengal gram dal
- 1 teaspoon
Method
1. Pressure
cook
root
vegetables
,
peel
and
chop
into big pieces.
2.
Slice
all the other
vegetables
into 2 inch long pieces.
3.
Fry
brinjal
,
ladies finger
in
oil
for few minutes.
4.
Add
it to thin
tamarind
extract along with all the other
vegetables
.
5.
Cook
till
vegetables
become soft.
6.
Add
salt
,
jaggery
,
green chillies
,
Sambar powder
, mashed
thuar dal
and
cook
till thick.
7.
Heat
oil
,
add
seasonings
and
mix
with gravy.
8. Garnish with
coriander
and
curry leaves
.
