Yogurt

Turmeric powder

Thuar dal
- 2 teaspoons
•
Pepper
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Coriander seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Oil
- 1 teaspoon
•
Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Red chillies (dry)
- 2
•
Curry leaves
- 2 sprigs
•
Asafoetida
- 1 pinch
Method
1. Dry
roast
thuar dal
,
pepper
,
coriander seeds
and
cumin seeds
until golden brown.
2. Allow them to cool and
grind
them in a mixer grinder to a fine
powder
.
3. Take a
mixing
bowl,
add
curd
and beat well until smooth and
add
one more cup of
water
.
4.
Mix
the ground
ingredients
with the
curd
.
5. Transfer
curd
mixture
to a vessel, allow it to
cook
until one
boil
.
6. When bubbles
start
appearing, switch it off.
7. Finally season with items given in the list for
seasoning
.
