Mirror Glaze Cake

Ingredients For Making White Chocolate Mousse
•
White chocolate
- 200 grams
•
Heavy cream
- ¼ cup
•
Heavy cream (for whipping)
- 1 cup
Method To Make White Chocolate Mousse
1. In a saucepan
heat
water
until it boils gently.
2. Place a bowl on top of the
water
in the saucepan and
add
the
white chocolate
.
3. After the
chocolate
has melted,
add
the 1/4 cup of
heavy cream
and
mix
well until smooth.
Keep
aside.
4. In a bowl,
add
heavy cream
and
whisk
until soft peaks form.
5.
Add
the
chocolate
mixture
into the whipped
cream
and
mix
well.
Ingredients For Making Mirror Glaze Cake
•
Strawberry jams
- 1 cup
•
Vanilla cake
- 1
•
Water
- 50 milliliters
•
Agar agar powder
- 12 grams
•
Sugar
- 1 cup
•
Sweet condensed milk
- ½ cup
•
White chocolate
- 200 grams
•
Orange food colors
- as required
•
Yellow food colors
- as required
Method To Make Mirror Glaze Cake
1. Take a plain
vanilla cake
and
slice
into a 2 inch thick piece.
2. In a
cake
pan,
add
strawberry jam
and place
vanilla cake
on top. Freeze and
keep
aside.
3.
Make
the "
white chocolate
mousse".
Keep
aside.
4. In a silicon
cake
pan, line the bottom with the
chocolate
mousse.
5. Place the frozen
cake
with the
strawberry jam
facing downward on top of the
chocolate
mousse.
6.
Add
more
chocolate
mousse until the sides and the bottom of the
cake
is fully covered. Freeze and
keep
aside.
7. In a small bowl,
add
water
and
agar agar powder
.
Mix
well and
keep
aside.
8.
Heat
a saucepan,
add
sugar
,
sweet condensed milk
and
water
.
Stir
until
sugar
has melted.
9.
Add
agar agar
mixture
.
Mix
well.
10.
Add
white chocolate
and
mix
until nearly all
white chocolate
has melted.
11.
Add
the
mixture
into a bowl and
blend
with an immersion blender.
12. Filter the glaze
mixture
to
remove
any bubbles.
13. Separate the
mixture
into 3 bowls.
14.
Add
in orange
color
to one bowl and yellow
color
to another bowl.
Mix
well, cool and
keep
aside.
15. Place a glass on top of a
baking
tray.
Remove
the frozen
cake
from its silicon
cake
pan and place on top of the glass.
16.
Add
yellow glaze
mixture
inside the orange glaze
mixture
.
Pour
liberally on top of the
cake
until it is fully coated.
17. Swipe a spatula across the top of the
cake
to
remove
any excess.
18. Wait until the
cake
has set.
19. Refrigerate and
serve
!
