Ingredients
•
Fenugreek leaves/Methi leaves
- 6 bunches
•
Green chillies
- 5
•
Wheat flour
- 3 cups
•
Salt (powdered)
- 2 teaspoons
•
Oil (for deep frying)
- as required
Method
1.
Wash
and
chop
leaves
alone from the bunch.
2.
Grind
it to smooth
paste
along with
green chillies
without
adding
water
.
3. Immediately
mix
it with the
wheat flour
to which
salt
is added.
4. Knead to a stiff dough sprinkling necessary
water
.
5.
Make
puris and deep
fry
in hot
oil
.
Note
•
Fenugreek leaves
becomes bitter if kept separately after
grinding
.
•
Keep
flour
ready in
mixing
bowl and
mix
ground paste
immediately with that.
