Methi Idli

Ingredients
•
Par boiled rice
- 3 cups
•
Fenugreek seeds/Methi seeds
- 3 ½ teaspoons
•
Castor seeds
- few
•
Rock salt
- 3 teaspoons
Method
1.
Soak
fenugreek
and
castor seeds
together for 3 hours.
2.
Soak
rice
separately for 2 to 3 hours.
3.
Grind
fenugreek
till soft and frothy for nearly ½ an hour.
4.
Grind
rice
to fine rawa consistency and
mix
both together with
salt
.
5. Allow to ferment for 24 hours.
6. Steam Idlis in the usual way.
