Mango Vanilla Custard

Ingredients
•
Milk
- 1 cup
•
Corn flour
- 1 tablespoon
•
Vanilla essence
- a little
•
Sugar syrups
- 1 tablespoon
•
Undiluted mango pulp (thick)
- ½ cup
•
Cherries (chopped, for garnishing)
- 1 tablespoon
(optional)
Method
1.
Make
1/2 cup mango
pulp
in a blender and
keep
aside
2.
Mix
custard
powder
in 1/4 cup
milk
,
mix
well and
keep
aside.
3.
Heat
the remaining
milk
with
sugar syrup
, bring it to a
boil
and then
add
the custard
powder
-
milk
mixture
to it.
Stir
continuously so that no lumps are formed. This will thicken up soon so
keep
stirring
.
4. When the
mixture
starts bubbling and looks thick, switch off the stove. Allow it to cool down completely.
5. Now to assemble, in a glass, alternate a Tablespoon of prepared vanilla custard with a Tablespoon of mango
pulp
till it reaches the brim.
6.
Add
chopped
cherries
on top.
7. Refrigerate for an hour and
serve
chilled.
