Mango Rose Cake

Ingredients For Making Vanilla Sponge Cake

All-purpose flour
- 1 ¾ cups

Sugar
- 1 cup

Baking soda

- 1 cup

Vanilla essence
- 2 teaspoons

- 1/3 cup
•
Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon
Ingredients For Making Butter Cream
•
Butter
- ½ cup
•
Sugar (powdered)
- 1 cup
•
Vanilla essence
- 1 teaspoon
•
Milk
- 1 tablespoon
Ingredients For Making Mango Rose Cake
•
Butter cream
- 250 milliliters
•
Sugar
- 2 teaspoons
•
Mangoes
- 6
•
Sugar (for simple syrup)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Water (for simple syrup)
- ½ cup
Method To Make Vanilla Sponge Cake
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius)
2. Sift the
flour
into a
mixing
bowl.
3.
Add
the
sugar
,
baking
soda
and
salt
.
Mix
well.
4.
Add
the
milk
, vanilla,
butter
and
vinegar
.
Whisk
everything until combined.
5. Grease a 7-inch round cake tins with
butter
.
Pour
mixture
into the cake tin.
6.
Bake
for 30 minutes.
7. Check if cake is baked by poking a stick into the center of the cake. If the stick comes out clean then your cake is done.
8. Move to a cooling rack to cool completely.
Method To Make Butter Cream
1.
Whisk
soft
butter
until frothy.
2.
Add
sugar
and
whisk
well.
3.
Add
vanilla essence
and
milk
and
whisk
well.
Method To Make Mango Rose Cake
1.
Make
a simple syrup by
boiling
1/2 cup
water
with 2 tablespoon of
sugar
.
Keep
aside.
2.
Cut
a vanilla sponge cake in the middle.
Keep
aside.
3.
Peel
and
chop
a
mango
and
make
into thin slices.
Keep
aside.
4. Brush one
layer
of cake with simple syrup and then with
butter cream
.
5. Then place another
layer
on to and brush the top with
sugar
syrup and
butter cream
.
6.
Cover
the whole cake with
butter cream
.
7. Arrange the
mango
pieces like rose petal. Then your
mango
rose cake is ready.
8.
Serve
