Mango Phirni

Ingredients
•
Milk
- 1 liter
•
Mangoes
- 1 cup
•
Rice flour
- 1 ½ tablespoons
•
Sugar
- 1 ¼ cups
•
Cardamom powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Cashew nuts
- ½ tablespoon
•
Pisthas
- ½ tablespoon
Method
1.
Mix
rice flour
with 1 cup cold
milk
without forming any lumps.
2.
Heat
rest of the
milk
in a heavy vessel.
3. When it starts to
boil
,
add
rice flour
paste
and
cook
stirring
constantly, till it becomes thick.
4.
Mix
one cup of fine
mango
pulp when the
mixture
is three fourth cooked.
5.
Add
sugar
and switch off the stove.
6.
Stir
for two minutes till
sugar
dissolves completely.
7.
Mix
cardamom powder
and chill in refrigerator.
8.
Pour
in small individual cups and
serve
with fried nuts on top.
