Malai Machchi Tikka

Ingredients
•
Singhara fish (fresh water fish, tikka pieces)
- 500 grams
•
Vinegar/Lemon juice
- ¼ cup
•
Salt
- ½ teaspoon
Ingredients For The Marination
•
Dahi/Yogurt
- ½ cup
•
Cream
- ½ cup
•
Ginger paste
- 2 teaspoons
•
Garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons
•
Jeera/Cumin seeds (roasted and ground)
- 1 teaspoon
•
Methi danas/Fenugreek seeds (roasted and ground)
- 2 teaspoons
•
Amchurs/Raw mango powder
- 2 teaspoons
•
Besan/Gram flour (roasted)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Eggs (yolks only)
- 2
•
Chilly powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Oil (for basting)
- as required
Method
1.
Wash
and pat dry
fish
tikka pieces.
2.
Mix
with
vinegar
or
lemon juice
,
salt
, haldi and put aside for ½ hour.
3.
Mix
with rest of
marinade
.
4. Skewer the tikkas and
cook
over hot charcoal for 7-8 minutes,
basting
with
oil
just once.
5. Garnish with chaat
masala
and onion rings.
6.
Serve
with Green chutney.
