Majjiga Chaaru

Ingredients

• • Buttermilks - 3 cups
• • Green chilly paste - ½ teaspoon

Ingredients For Seasoning

• • Oil - 3 tablespoons
• • Cumin seeds - ½ teaspoon
• • Mustard seeds - ½ teaspoon
• • Red chillies (dried) - 4
• • Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
• • Size onions (medium, finely chopped) - 2
• • Turmeric powder - ½ teaspoon
• • Urad dal - 1 teaspoon

Method

• 1. Whip sour curds and dilute well.
• 2. Add salt, turmeric, curry leaves, coriander leaves, finely cut onions and green chillies.
• 3. Mix well with buttermilk.
• 4. Heat oil, season with mustard, urad dal and mix with the rasam.
