Lasooni Chicken Tikka

Ingredients
•
Chicken tikka (boneless)
- 500 grams
•
Garlic (finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Butter
- 1 tablespoon
•
Tils/Sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons
•
Malai/Cream
- ½ cup
•
Jaiphals/Nutmeg powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
White pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Arrowroots
- 1 tablespoon
•
Oil (for basting)
- as required
Method
1.
Melt
butter
and saute
garlic
until pale brown.
Remove
from flame.
2.
Wash
and pat dry the
chicken tikkas
.
3.
Mix
garlic
butter
with the remaining
ingredients
, except
oil
.
4.
Marinate
the
tikkas
in this
mixture
for 4-5 hours and put in the refrigerator.
5.
Remove
from refrigerator at least ½ hour before
cooking
.
6.
Cook
on a wire rack over a charcoal
grill
or under an electric
grill
.
7. If
cooking
under an electric or gas
grill
, leave a pan underneath for the drippings.
8. Baste with
oil
2-3 times.
Cook
until tender and
serve
piping hot with chutney.
