Milk
- 10 cups

Sugar
- 1 cup

Cashew nuts
- 1 tablespoon

Raisins
- 1 tablespoon

Pistas
- 1 tablespoon

Ghee
- 3 tablespoons
•
Saffron (prepare: dissolved in 1 tablespoon warm milk)
- a little
•
Maces
- a pinch
•
Nutmeg powder
- a pinch
Method
1.
Prepare
milk
pongal as mentioned previously.
2. When ice is cooked,
reduce
flame and
add
sugar
little by little and
mix
well till dissolved.
3.
Remove
from fire and
add
fried
cashew nuts
,
raisins
,
pista
, soaked
saffron
,
mace
and
nutmeg powder
.
4.
Heat
rest of
ghee
,
pour
on top and
serve
.
