Khejurer Sandesh

Ingredients

Date (destoned)
- 200 grams
•
Chhenna
- 500 grams
•
Milk
- ½ liter
•
Sugar
- 200 grams
•
Cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Moulds
- a few
Method
1.
Blend
Chhenna
in a mixer or knead well with your hands.
Chop
dates
into small pieces.
2.
Boil
milk
in a non-stick pan in medium
heat
till thick.
3.
Add
chhenna
and
sugar
in the
milk
and
keep
stirring
in low
heat
.
Remove
the
mixture
when it thickens and not sticking to the sides of the vessel.
4.
Add
cardamom powder
and
stir
for a couple of minutes more and
remove
from fire.
5. Allow the
mixture
to cool and divide it into small balls.
6. Grease the
moulds
with ghee/butter and press the balls in the
moulds
. Yummy Khejurer Sandesh is ready.
7.
Serve
in room temperature.
