Khajoor Ki Kheer

Ingredients
•
Ghee
- 1 teaspoon
•
Cashew nuts
- 1 tablespoon
•
Raisins
- ½ tablespoon
•
Milk
- 2 cups
•
Dates (de-seeded & chopped)
- 1 cup
•
Water
- 1 ½ cups
•
Condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons
•
Cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Saffron
- a pinch
Method
1.
Fry
cashew nuts
and
raisins
in
ghee
until golden brown.
Keep
aside.
2. In a saucepan
add
milk
and bring it to a
boil
.
Boil
in
simmer
until it has reduced by half.
Keep
aside.
3.
Add
chopped
dates
with
water
in a pan.
Cook
until it becomes mushy and soft.
4.
Add
the reduced
milk
.
5.
Add
condensed milk
for creamier texture.
6.
Add
cardamom powder
and roasted
cashew nut
and
raisins
.
7. Garnish with
saffron
.
Serve
hot.
