Ingredients

Cashew nuts
- 1 cup
•
Sugar
- ½ cup
•
Water
- ¼ cup
•
Cardamom powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Ghee
- 1 teaspoon
Method
1.
Grind
cashew nut
with
water
in a smooth
paste
.
Keep
aside.
2. Dissolve
sugar
with
water
.
Keep
stirring
until
sugar
syrup forms a "one-string" consistency.
3. At this stage, lower the flame and
add
the
cashew nut
mixture
.
Add
cardamom powder
.
4.
Keep
stirring
in low flame until the
cashew
paste
turns to dough.
Add
a little bit of
ghee
.
5.
Remove
the dough from pan onto a surface. While the
mixture
is still warm, kneading the dough.
6.
Roll
the dough into thin
layer
.
Cut
the dough diagonally to
make
diamond pieces.
