Jam Omelette

Unsalted butter
- 1 ½ tablespoons

Shredded cheese
- ½ cup
Method
1. Beat
egg
yolks with
seasoning
.
2. Fold in stiffly beaten
egg
white.
3.
Heat
butter
in a pan,
pour
the beaten
egg
mixture
, and
cook
steadily.
4. When set at bottom, put under a
grill
for a minute and
serve
hot.
5. Fill it with jam and
serve
, or use
mixture
of cream and sugar beaten together.
6. Tinned fruits or apricots can be used as a stuffing and decorated on top with cream and cherry, or jam.
