How to make Red Chilly, Garlic and Shallot (Small Onion) Sauce (Lal Mirch Lasoon Chutney)

Ingredients
•
Boiling water
- 1 cup
•
Red chillies (dried, stems removed)
- 20
•
Shallots or red onion thinly sliceds
- ¼ cup
•
Granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon
•
Salt
- ½ teaspoon
•
Garlic cloves
- 6
Method
1. Take the
red chillies
in a bowl and
pour
the
boiling
water
on it and allow it to
soak
for 1 hour.
2.
Drain
the
chillies
and retain half of the liquid.
3. Put the
chillies
into a blender jar and
pour
the liquid, and put all other
ingredients
.
Grind
the
mix
into a fine
paste
.
4.
Store
the
paste
in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for upto 5 days or in the freezer for up to 1 month.
