Grilled Yogurt Chicken

Ingredients
•
Chicken (cut into 6-8 pieces)
- 800 grams
•
Curd (thick)
- ¾ cup
•
Garam masala
- 1 teaspoon
•
Lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons
•
Maida/Plain flour
- 5 tablespoons
•
Oil
- 3 tablespoons
•
Pepper
- as required
Ingredients For Grinding Together To A Paste
•
Garlic
- 10 flakes
•
Ginger
- 3 inches
•
Green chillies
- 3
Method
1.
Wash
the
chicken
and pat dry.
2.
Marinate
with
curd
,
ginger
-
garlic
-
chilly
paste
,
garam masala
and
salt
for 2-3 hours.
3.
Heat
oil
in a non stick pan or a heavy bottomed pan and
cook
the
chicken
pieces until dry and tender.
4.
Remove
from fire and sprinkle
lemon juice
.
Keep
aside to cool.
5. Season the
maida
with little
salt
&
pepper
.
Spread
it evenly on a plate.
6. Press or pat
chicken
pieces on the seasoned
maida
on both sides.
7.
Heat
a gas
tandoor
. Place the
chicken
pieces on the wire rack and
grill
for 10 minutes or till pieces are light brown.
8. Garnish with mint &
lemon
wedges and
serve
hot with boiled
vegetables
.
9. To
grill
the
chicken
in the oven,
keep
the
chicken
on a wire rack for 10 minutes till brown.
