Grilled Sesame Chicken

Ingredients
•
Chicken (cut into 6-8 pieces)
- 800 grams
•
Tils/Sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons
•
Ginger-garlic paste
- 3 tablespoons
•
Curd
- ½ cup
•
Malai/Cream
- 2 tablespoons
•
Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Black salt
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Chat masala
- ½ teaspoon
•
Mint (chopped)
- as required
•
Lemon wedges
- as required
Method
1.
Roast
the
sesame seeds
on a hot tawa or a pan till light brown,
stirring
constantly.
Remove
from tawa and
keep
aside.
2.
Wash
and pat dry the
chicken
pieces. Prick them with fork at 3-4 places.
3.
Add
ginger-garlic paste
, chopped
coriander
,
chat masala
,
black salt
,
salt
, toasted
sesame seeds
and
malai
to the
curd
.
4.
Marinate
the
chicken
pieces with this
mixture
for 2-3 hours.
5.
Heat
the gas
tandoor
and
grill
the
chicken
by placing on the wire rack for 20 minutes or till tender.
6. Garnish with onion rings, chopped
mint
and
lemon wedges
.
