Grilled Chicken Toast

Ingredients

Bread slices 6s

Chicken pieces (boiled & cubed)
- ½ cup
•
Processed cheese (grated)
- 25 grams
•
Salt
- as required
•
Pepper
- a little
Ingredients For White Sauce
•
Butter
- 2 tablespoons
•
Maida
- 3 tablespoons
•
Milk
- 1 ½ cups
•
Salt
- as required
•
Pepper
- a little
Method To Prepare The White Sauce
1.
Melt
butter
in a heavy bottomed pan.
2.
Add
maida
and
stir
for a minute.
3.
Remove
from fire.
4.
Add
the
milk
,
stirring
continuously.
5. Return to fire and
cook
,
stirring
continuously till thick.
6.
Add
salt
,
pepper
to
taste
.
7.
Remove
from fire and
keep
the white sauce aside.
Method
1.
Wash
the
chicken pieces
.
2.
Boil
with ½ Teaspoon
salt
in ½ cup
water
till tender or pressure
cook
with ½ cup
water
and ½ Teaspoon
salt
to give 1 whistle.
3.
Debone
the
meat
and
cut
into cubes.
4. Toast the
slice
to
make
it medium brown.
5.
Cut
into 2 triangles.
6.
Mix
the
chicken
, white sauce,
cheese
and
seasonings
.
7.
Spread
the
mixture
on the toasts and
grill
it in hot oven on the top rack for 1 minute or till slightly brown.
8.
Serve
hot with ketchup.
9.
Grill
carefully only to brown the
cheese
.
10. An over grilled toast becomes hard.
