Gooseberries (fresh, big)
- 2
•
Coconut (fresh, grated)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Green chillies
- 2
•
Salt
- as required
•
Curd (fresh, thick)
- ¾ cup
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Oil
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Mustard seeds
- a little
Method
1.
Cut
goose berries and
remove
seeds
.
2.
Fry
green chillies
in
oil
in reduced flame. (Take care not to over
fry
as it may splutter)
3.
Grind
chillies
,
gooseberries
,
salt
,
coconut
to smooth
paste
with minimum quantity of
water
.
4. Season with
mustard seeds
.
5. Just before
serving
mix
with fresh thick
curds
.
Note
• If dried
gooseberries
are used,
fry
it in
oil
along with
chillies
till it puffs up, and then
grind
the other
ingredients
.
