Ingredients

Garlic
- 3 cloves
•
Onions (small)
- ½ cup
•
Tamarind extract (thick)
- 5 tablespoons
•
Dhania powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Jaggery
- as required
(optional)
•
Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Fenugreek
- ½ teaspoon
•
Asafoetidas
- a pinch
•
Curry leaves
- 1 sprig
Ingredients For Grinding Coarsely
•
Onions (big)
- 2
•
Tomatoes
- 3
Ingredients For Frying And Grinding Together Coarsely
•
Black pepper
- 3 teaspoons
Method
1.
Heat
oil
and season with
mustard seeds
,
fenugreek
,
asafoetida
and
curry leaves
.
2.
Add
garlic
and
fry
till colour is changed.
3.
Mix
peeled small
onions
and
fry
for few minutes.
4.
Add
ground paste
and coarsely powdered
pepper
.
5.
Keep
frying
for few more minutes.
6.
Pour
tamarind extract
,
salt
and
dhania powder
, with enough
water
.
7.
Boil
till
oil
floats on top. (For nearly 30 to 45 minutes)
