Garlic Mango Pickle

Ingredients
•
Sour mango pieces
- 4 cups
•
Garlic (peeled)
- 20 flakes
•
Oil
- 1 cup
•
Salt (powdered)
- ¾ cup
•
Red chilly powder
- ¾ cup
Ingredients For Dry Roast And Powder
•
Fenugreek
- 1 ½ tablespoons
Method
1.
Wash
mangoes
and
spread
over a cloth to
remove
excess moisture and
cut
mangoes
into 1 inch square pieces.
2.
Grind
garlic
into
paste
and
mix
with
mango
pieces.
3.
Mix
salt
,
chilly
powder
and
fenugreek
powder
together and sprinkle over
mangoes
.
4.
Heat
oil
in a pan and allow to cool lightly.
5. When it is moderately hot,
pour
over
mango
pieces and
mix
well.
6.
Store
in a clean and dry bottle.
7.
Mix
well daily for 10 days.
Serve
after it is soaked well.
Note
• If you
pour
hot
oil
,
mango
pieces might become soft. Allow to cool before
mixing
with the pickle.
