Egg Stuffed Appam

Ingredients
•
Rice (raw)
- 1 cup
•
Par boiled rice
- 1 cup
•
Urad dal
- ¼ cup
•
Coconut
- 1
•
Sugar
- 3 tablespoons
•
Salt
- as required
•
Eggs
- 4
•
Soda-bicarbonates
- ½ teaspoon
Method
1.
Soak
rice
and
dal
together for 2 hours and
grind
into fine, thick
paste
with enough
salt
.
2.
Grind
previous day itself.
3. Next day
grate
one full
coconut
and take two extracts from it.
4.
Add
it to the dough a long with ½ Teaspoon of
soda-bicarbonate
and 3 teaspoons of
sugar
.
5. This dosa should be poured in a curved
frying
pan, and cooked on one side only.
6. Take a laddie full of dough, and
pour
into the pan which is greased well and hot, using a cloth or tongs turn the
frying
pan, so that the dough is
spread
evenly.
7.
Cover
on top and
keep
on a medium flame till it is cooked.
Method To Do Stuffing
1.
Scramble
eggs
with desired
seasonings
and take a tablespoon full of it and put it inside the dosa, as soon as it is poured.
2.
Pour
little dough on top and allow to
cook
in a low flame.
3. There is no need to turn over.
4. This dosa is cooked on only one side.
