Ingredients
•
Eggs (hard boiled)
- 8
•
Vinegar
- 2 cups
•
Cinnamon
- 1 inch piece
•
Cloves
- 6
•
Mustard powder
- 1 tablespoon
•
Peppercorns (pounded coarsely)
- 10
•
Red chillies (broken into small pieces)
- 20
•
Garlic
- 3 flakes
•
Ginger
- ΒΌ inch piece
•
Salt
- as required
•
Sugar
- as required
Method
1.
Crush
garlic
and
ginger
.
2.
Mix
this with
vinegar
and other
spices
.
3.
Heat
in a low flame for few minutes till all the flavours
blend
.
4. Then
add
salt
and
sugar
. Set aside till it cools down.
5. Prick boiled
eggs
using a fork or tooth pick all over.
6.
Fry
this in little
oil
till light brown in colour on all sides.
7. Pack these
eggs
in a clean
preserving
jar.
8.
Pour
prepared
vinegar
on top till
eggs
are immersed completely.
9. Tie a fine muslin cloth on top of the jar and
keep
under sun for one or two days.
10.
Serve
it after two days.
11.
Mix
gently with a clean laddie every alternate day.
