Egg Pakoras

Ingredients

Eggs (hard boiled, cut into 2 length wise portions)
- 4
•
Salt
- as required
•
Pepper
- as required
•
Chaat masala (for garnishing)
- as required
Ingredients For Batter
•
Besan/Gram flour
- 1 cup
•
Water
- ΒΌ cup
•
Salt
- as required
•
Chilly powder
- as required
•
Coriander (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Water
- as required
Method
1.
Boil
eggs
in
water
for 8 minutes or a little more till they become hard boiled.
2.
Peel
and
cut
length wise into 2 pieces.
3. Sprinkle
salt
&
pepper
.
4.
Keep
aside.
5.
Mix
all the
ingredients
of the batter together,
adding
just enough
water
to
get
a batter of medium
pouring
consistency, which is thick enough to coat the
eggs
.
6. The batter should not be too thick as a thick coating does not
taste
good.
7.
Dip
eggs
in the batter and deep
fry
on medium
heat
to golden brown.
8.
Remove
on absorbent paper.
9. Sprinkle
chaat masala
and
serve
hot with tomato ketchup.
