Easy Raw Mango Pickle

Ingredients
•
Mangoes (raw, chopped into small pieces with skin)
- 1 cup
•
Salt
- as required
•
Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Asafoetida/Hing
- ½ teaspoon
Ingredients For Making Pickle Powder
•
Fenugreek seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Red chilly
- 25 grams
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Gingelly oil
- 2 tablespoons
•
Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
Method To Make Pickle Powder
1.
Heat
oil
in a pan and
add
fenugreek seeds
,
roast
till golden brown and
keep
aside.
2. Then
add
red chillies
and
fry
till puffed.
3.
Grind
the roasted
fenugreek seeds
and fried
red chillies
in a blender.
Keep
aside.
Method To Make Mango Pickle
1.
Wash
mangoes
and wipe dry.
2.
Cut
mangoes
into small pieces with skin.
3. Put
cut
mangoes
in a bowl, and
add
salt
,
turmeric powder
,
asafoetida
and 2 teaspoon of pickle
powder
.
Mix
well.
4.
Heat
oil
in a pan and
add
mustard seeds
.
5. After the
seeds
splutters,
remove
from
heat
and
add
to
mango
mix
.
