Rice (raw)
- 2 cups
•
Red gram dal
- ¾ cup
•
Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon
•
Curry leaves
- few
•
Sprig onion (chopped)
- 1
•
Red chillies
- 8
•
Asafoetidas
- as required
•
Salt
- 2 teaspoons
•
Oil
- as required
•
Drumstick leaves
- ¼ cup
Method
1.
Soak
rice
for 3 hours and
dal
separately for ½ an hour.
2.
Grind
them together with
chillies
,
cumin
.
curry leaves
and
onion
till coarse rawa consistency
3.
Add
salt
and
mix
drumstick leaves
. (Do not
chop
)
4.
Make
adai as mentioned previously and
fry
on hot 'tawa" with
oil
.
