Double Beans Pulao

Ingredients

Basmati rice
- 1 cup
•
Coconut extract
- 2 cups
•
Peas (fresh)
- ¼ cup
•
Double bean seeds (fresh)
- ¼ cup
•
Onions
- 2
•
Salt
- as required
•
Garam masala powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Oil/Ghee
- 3 tablespoons
•
Cardamoms
- 2
•
Bay leaf
- 1
•
Cinnamon
- 1 inch piece
•
Cloves
- 2
•
Kasoori methis
- 2 teaspoons
Ingredients For Grinding Together
•
Green chillies
- 7
•
Garlic
- 4 flakes
•
Ginger
- ½ inch piece
•
Onion
- 1
Method
1.
Wash
and
soak
rice
for 10 minutes.
2.
Heat
½ Teaspoon of
ghee
and
fry
for few minutes.
3.
Cut
onion
lengthwise.
4.
Heat
a pressure pan with
ghee
and
fry
garam masala
spices
and then
onions
.
5.
Add
ground paste
, shelled
peas
and
beans
.
6.
Fry
in medium flame till
ghee
is separated.
7.
Add
coconut extract
and
rice
.
8.
Mix
well and
reduce
flame.
9. Pressure
cook
for 10 minutes.
10. Sprinkle
garam masala powder
with a Teaspoon of
ghee
to
rice
.
11.
Mix
gently and
serve
hot with tomato raita.
