Doodh Peda

Ingredients
•
Buffalo's milk
- 2 liters
•
Sugar
- 1 cup
•
Water
- ¼ cup
•
Butter
- 1 teaspoon
Method
1.
Heat
milk
in a broad, heavy kadai
stirring
constantly, till it is reduced to ¾ of its consistency.
Remove
from fire.
2.
Heat
sugar
and
water
together in another kadai, and
stir
till it dissolves.
3.
Boil
till syrup reaches one string consistency.
4.
Pour
thickened
milk
to this and
stir
till it
leaves
the sides of the vessel and becomes thick frothy mass.
5.
Remove
from fire,
add
butter
and
keep
stirring
with a wooden masher in circular motion till it becomes lukewarm.
6.
Make
even sized balls and press it in doodh peda maker to form doodh peda shapes with design on top or use a Horlicks bottle cap, apply little
oil
, and press well to form even sized pedas.
