Ingredients

Butter
- 1 cup

Brown sugar/Jaggery
- 100 grams
•
Maida
- 1 ¾ cups
•
Salt
- ¾ teaspoon
•
Curd (fresh)
- 1 ¼ cups
•
Sugar (powdered)
- 200 grams
•
Egg yolks
- 2
•
Egg whites
- 2
•
Soda-bicarbonates
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Cocoa powder
- 4 teaspoons
•
Red colours
- a little
Method
1. Sift flour with soda,
baking
powder
and
salt
for 3 times.
2. Beat
butter
,
sugar
and
egg yolks
.
3.
Add
curd
and flour to that.
Keep
beating till creamy.
4.
Add
essence,
cocoa
,
colour
and finally stiffly beaten
egg whites
and gently fold in the dough till mixed.
5.
Bake
in a hot oven for 35 to 40 minutes or till baked.
