Creamy Chicken And Mushroom

Ingredients

• • Boneless chicken (cut into small pieces) - 500 grams
• • Bay leaf - 1
• • Oil - 1 teaspoon
• • Thymes - ¾ teaspoon
• • Salt - 1 teaspoon
• • Wine - ¼ cup
• • Onions (quartered) - 1 cup
• • Pepper - 1 teaspoon
• • Mushrooms (sliced) - 1 cup
• • Maida - 1 ½ tablespoons
• • Milk - 1 cup
• • Lemon juice - 1 ½ tablespoons
• • Nutmegs (grated) - ¼ teaspoon (optional)

Method

• 1. Heat oil in a nonstick pan. Add chicken, bay leaf and fry till it changes colour.
• 2. Add onion, mushrooms, salt, thyme & pepper. Fry for 1-2 minutes.
• 3. Cover and cook on low heat till chicken is tender.
• 4. Mix together milk, maida and nutmeg.
• 5. Add to chicken. Cook till thick and bubbly.
• 6. Add lemon juice. Mix well and serve hot.
