Chocolate and Vanilla Marble Cake

Ingredients

Butter
- 150 grams
•
Sugar (powdered)
- 150 grams
•
Maida
- 2 cups
•
Baking powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Cocoa
- 1 tablespoon
•
Vanilla essence
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- a pinch
•
Eggs
- 4
Method
1. Sieve flour with
baking
powder
and
salt
for three times.
2. Cream
butter
and
sugar
till light and fluffy.
3.
Add
beaten
eggs
gradually and beat well.
4. Divide the dough into two portions.
5. To one half,
mix
half of the flour sieved with
cocoa
.
6. To the other half
mix
rest of the flour with
vanilla essence
.
7. Grease a round
baking
dish drop mixtures in alternate spoonfuls till the dough is completely over.
8.
Bake
in moderate oven (180°C) for 40 to 50 minutes, or till baked.
9. When cool dust with icing
sugar
before
serving
.
