Chilly Idli

Idlis (cut into cubes)

Onions (thinly sliced)
- 1 cup
•
Chilly powder
- 2 teaspoons
•
Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon
•
Spring onions (cut into small pieces)
- 1 teaspoon
•
Ghee
- 1 tablespoon
•
Oil
- 2 tablespoons
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Urad dal
- 1 teaspoon
•
Curry leaves
- 1 sprig
Method
1.
Heat
1 tablespoon of
oil
, then
add
sliced
onion
till golden brown.
2. Then
add
ginger-garlic paste
and
fry
well.
3. Then
add
chilli
powder
, and then
add
cut
idli
cubes and
mix
well.
4. Then
add
1 Tablespoon of
ghee
and
fry
.
5.
Heat
1 tablespoon of
oil
, then
add
in the
mustard seeds
.
6. As it splutters,
add
urad dal
and saute till it turns golden brown in colour.
7. Now
add
curry leaves
. Now
add
in the chopped
idlis
and
mix
it well.
8. Garnish with
cut
spring onion
and
serve
.
