Chilly Idli

Ingredients

• • Idlis (cut into cubes) - 5
• • Onions (thinly sliced) - 1 cup
• • Chilly powder - 2 teaspoons
• • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
• • Spring onions (cut into small pieces) - 1 teaspoon
• • Ghee - 1 tablespoon
• • Oil - 2 tablespoons

Ingredients For Seasoning

• • Mustard seeds - ½ teaspoon
• • Urad dal - 1 teaspoon
• • Curry leaves - 1 sprig

Method

• 1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil, then add sliced onion till golden brown.
• 2. Then add ginger-garlic paste and fry well.
• 3. Then add chilli powder, and then add cut idli cubes and mix well.
• 4. Then add 1 Tablespoon of ghee and fry.
• 5. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil, then add in the mustard seeds.
• 6. As it splutters, add urad dal and saute till it turns golden brown in colour.
• 7. Now add curry leaves. Now add in the chopped idlis and mix it well.
• 8. Garnish with cut spring onion and serve.
