Chilly Eggs

Ingredients

Eggs (boiled)
- 5

Onions (chopped)
- 3
•
Ginger garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon
•
Green chillies (chopped into thin round pieces)
- 3
•
Red chillies powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Tamarind extract (thick)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Sugar
- ½ teaspoon
•
Oil
- 3 tablespoons
Method
1.
Peel
outer skin from boiled
eggs
.
2. Prick with a fork all over.
3.
Heat
oil
,
add
ginger garlic paste
and the chopped
onions
.
Fry
for 2 minutes.
4.
Add
chilly
powder
, chopped
chillies
,
tamarind extract
and
salt
.
5.
Pour
half cup of
boiling
water
with
sugar
and
turmeric powder
.
6. Slip
egg
gently to the gravy.
7.
Cook
till thick and
seasoning
absorbs into the
eggs
.
