Chicken Rice Soup

Ingredients

Water
- 4 cups
•
Chicken
- 125 grams
•
Celeries (chopped finely)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Spring onion (chopped)
- 1
•
Carrots (grated)
- ¼ cup
•
Rice (boiled, prepare: boil and remove water to remove excess starch)
- ¼ cup
•
Salt
- as required
•
Green chillies (chopped finely)
- 2
•
Pepper powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Lemon juice
- 3 teaspoons
Method
1.
Mix
chicken
and
water
in a cooker.
2. Give 5-6 whistles or give one whistle and lower
heat
and
simmer
for 10-15 minutes.
3. When pressure drops,
strain
, reserving the stock. Shred
chicken
.
4.
Keep
stock for
boiling
.
5.
Add
all
ingredients
except a little of the green part of the
spring onion
and
lemon juice
.
6.
Boil
for 1-2 minutes.
Add
lemon juice
.
7.
Mix
well and
serve
garnished with the green part of
spring onion
that you have kept aside.
