Chicken Hot & Sour Soup

Ingredients
•
Chicken stock
- 5 cups
•
Shredded chickens
- ¼ cup
•
Garlic (crushed)
- 2 flakes
•
Shredded cabbages
- ¼ cup
•
Carrot (grated)
- 1
•
Spring onion (chopped finely)
- 1
•
Cornflours
- 3 tablespoons
•
Soya sauce
- 1 tablespoon
•
Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon
•
Red chilly paste
- 1 teaspoon
•
Pepper
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- ½ teaspoon
•
Ajinomoto
- ½ teaspoon
(optional)
•
Oil
- 2 tablespoons
Method
1.
Heat
2 Tablespoon
oil
in a pan.
Add
the
cabbage
,
carrot
,
spring onion
&
shredded chicken
. Saute for ½ minute.
2.
Add
the
chicken stock
.
3.
Add
soya sauce
,
vinegar
,
chilly
paste
,
salt
,
pepper
and
ajinomoto
to the
stock
.
Stir
and give it a
boil
.
4.
Mix
cornflour
with ½ cup
cold water
and
add
to the soup.
Boil
.
5.
Cook
on low flame for 4-5 minutes till the soup thickens and the raw smell of
cornflour
disappears.
Serve
hot.
