Chicken Chaat

Ingredients
•
Chicken breasts (boiled & cubed)
- 2
•
Tomato
- 1
•
Capsicum
- ½
•
Spring onions (without greens)
- 2
•
Chaat masala
- 1 teaspoon
•
Kala namaks/Rock salt
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Sugar (powdered)
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Salt and pepper
- as required
•
Lemon juice
- as required
Method
1.
Wash
the
chicken breast
.
2.
Boil
with ½ Teaspoon
salt
and ½ cup
water
till tender or pressure
cook
with ½ cup
water
and ½ Teaspoon
salt
to give 1 whistle.
3.
Debone
the
meat
and
cut
into cubes.
4.
Cut
tomato
.
5.
Remove
pulp and
cut
into small cubes.
6.
Deseed
capsicum
and
cut
into small cubes.
7.
Cut
the white part of the
spring onions
in thin circles, discarding the green part.
8. Collect the
chicken
&
vegetables
in a bowl.
9. Sprinkle all the dry
ingredients
.
10. Squeeze
lemon juice
and
toss
.
11.
Cover
and
keep
in the refrigerator to chill.
12. If the chaat is not covered, the
chicken
tends to harden.
13.
Serve
on a bed of lettuce or cabbage.
