Channa Dal Kabab

Ingredients

Channa dal
- 1 cup
•
Ginger (finely chopped)
- 1
•
Green chillies (finely chopped)
- 2
•
Onion (finely chopped)
- 1
•
Hara dhania/Green coriander (finely chopped)
- 2
•
Dahi/Yogurt
- as required
•
Garam masala
- ¾ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil (for deep frying)
- as required
Method
1. Pick and
wash
the
channa dal
.
Soak
for 1 hour and
drain
the
water
.
2.
Grind
the
dal
in a mixer to a
coarse paste
.
3.
Add
very little
water
(about 1 Tablespoon) only if necessary while
grinding
.
4.
Mix
the
dal
paste
, with the remaining
ingredients
, except the
oil
.
5. Rub a little
oil
on your hands and
make
small kababs.
6.
Fry
in hot
oil
over medium
heat
until golden brown.
7.
Drain
on absorbent paper and
serve
with pudina chutney.
