Curd

Carrots (grated)
- ¾ cup

Green chillies

Salt

Coriander leaves (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Oil
- 1 teaspoon
•
Cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Urad dal
- ½ teaspoon
•
Curry leaves
- a little
•
Red chilly (broken, dry)
- 1
•
Ginger (grated)
- ½ teaspoon
Method
1.
Peel
,
wash
and
grate
carrot
, finely
chop
green chilly
,
coriander leaves
.
2. In a bowl beat
curd
well,
add
carrot
,
chilly
,
salt
and
mix
well.
3. In a small pan
add
all the items listed under 'For
Seasoning
' and allow
cumin
,
mustard seeds
seeds
to splutter,
urad dal
to become light brown, off flame.
4.
Pour
tempering over raita and give a gentle
mix
,
serve
immediately or chill until ready to
serve
.
