Carrot Phirni

Ingredients
•
Milk
- 1 liter
•
Carrots (grated)
- 1 ½ cups
•
Sugar
- ¾ cup
•
Rawa
- 3 tablespoons
•
Cashew nut powder
- 1 tablespoon
•
Saffron
- a little
Method
1.
Cook
carrots
in
milk
till it becomes soft.
2.
Add
sugar
and
stir
till it is dissolved.
3. Sprinkle
rawa
to the
milk
stirring
constantly without forming lumps.
4.
Add
cashew nut powder
and
cook
till
mixture
becomes thick.
5.
Crush
saffron
in warm
milk
and
mix
with phirni before
removing
from fire.
6.
Serve
cold in small individual cups.
Method To Serve
1. Traditionally Phirni is served in small mud pots as it has natural cooling effect.
